My path to becoming a plastic surgeon started as a child growing up as one of two sons that frequently accompanied my father to hospitals on weekends to round on patients.
I knew from an early age that I would one day become a physician. After finishing medical school I completed my General Surgery Residency training in various hospitals in New Jersey and New York City, including the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, working alongside some of the leading cancer surgeons in the country. Despite caring for a full range of patients in every capacity from Trauma to Intensive Care to outpatient surgeries, it was always the cases with the Plastic Surgeons I trained with that got me the most excited.

Pearce Plastic Surgery is a specialist medical practice serving patients in San Diego, California, led by a surgeon whose commitment to patient care began long before medical school. Growing up in a family where his weekends often included accompanying his father to hospitals, he developed an early calling to become a physician. After completing medical school, he pursued General Surgery Residency training across multiple hospitals in New Jersey and New York City, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During this experience, he worked alongside leading cancer surgeons while providing care for a wide range of cases, from Trauma and Intensive Care to outpatient surgeries. What consistently stood out were the opportunities to train with plastic surgeons, which ultimately shaped his focus and enthusiasm. Today, Pearce Plastic Surgery combines that broad surgical foundation with specialized expertise to support patients seeking plastic surgery care in the San Diego area.
